11 DAYS DESERT TOUR FROM CASABLANCA

ITINERARY:

                                                                                                
DAY 1 : CASABLANCA – RABAT

The 11 days will start from the Economic capital of Morocco, Casablanca where our team will pick you up from your place you are booked at or at the international Airport Mohammed V, The first drive will take you to see the grand Casablanca's Cornish which has a panoramic view to the sea and the giant minaret of Hassan ll Mosque, Then our voyage will continue towards the Capital of Morocco, Rabat with its old Hassan Tower not far from it we can see the Mausoleum Mohammed V and ancient Medina. This city is nominated as an Imperial city and called a world heritage by the UNESCO. There we will spend the first night.

DAY 2 : RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN

The following day you will travel to the blue city Chefchaouen, The blue pearl of Morocco as people love to name it, There you will be amazed with its blue painted walls, Its beautiful doors and shops where they sell handicrafts all over the city. There you will spent the night in one of its Hotels or Riads.

DAY 3 : CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES
The 3rd day after having your breakfast in the blue city, we will depart towards Volubilis. This later is an old Roman site which represents the very southern presence of the Roman Empire, Later we stop to have lunch at the city of Meknes  created by Moulay Ismail one of the first kings of the old Monarchs of Morocco, after lunch time will visit many places to name but a few Bab Mansour a big door on the old wall of the city which will take us directly to Moulay Ismail palace. Also we will visit the Herri Es-Souani an old horses stable and granaries with the large pool. After we come to visit Meknes, we will continue our drive towards Fez, the old capital of Morocco known as the scientific capital of Morocco because of its old Karawiyin Madrassa or the oldest University in the world recognized; the city as a world heritage by UNSCO in 1981.

DAY 4 : FES SIGHTSEEING
The 4th day will be devoted only to visit the city of Fez, After having breakfast, you will be able to visit the old still living city in the world with an official local guide who will take you into the traditional markets of the city stopping at the Royal Palace, the visit will take you to the oldest University in the world the mosque and Madrassa of Karaouine build by Fatima El Fehria in the 9th century, Your guide also will take you to visit the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss ll”. Here it comes to lunch time where you will be served in a much known traditional restaurant of the Medina. In the afternoon the Najarine fountain, the old harem Garden and the batha Museum. On your way to the hotel the guide will take you to see a panoramic view to the city and take pictures.

DAY 5 : FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY– MERZOUGA DESERT

Today we leave Fes towards Merzouga, you’ll pass through a scenic forest of cedars and across the Middle Atlas Mountain range, then you will have lunch in Midelt. This journey continues along through the dramatic Ziz valley which is particularly well-known for its palm trees and the length of the oasis.

All along the road, there are innumerable ksars, small villages of individual houses. From here we reach Erfoud, famous for its dates and fossils. After you will arrive at your final destination Merzouga Sahara Desert. Dinner and night in a hotel.


DAY 6 : MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR
For this next day of our tour, we will have a blast exploring Merzouga’s surroundings and learning more about the desert culture. First we will take a small tour through the dunes in a 4×4 vehicle, leading us to the historical Khamlia village. The reason why Khamlia is so important to the area is because the village is home to the masters of Gnaoua music.
After this, then visit one of the nomad families family names ait bouni living in the desert to learn more about their culture and lifestyle.and after to ibrahim’s family to eat the typical food is called the berber pizza that his sister khadija cooked After We are going to catch dromidaries through the desert to enjoy the sunset in the heart of the dunes and we continue our way to the camp there we have a welcome and dinner and Berber music and see the threshing floors before going to sleep.


DAY 7 : MERZOUGA – TINEGHIR – DADES GORGE – OUARZAZATE
Today we will leave Merzouga desert after you have breakfast, we will drive to Ouarzazate, Proceed to the Hollywood, meeting the Rissani city the former capital of the Tafilalt region and cross road between northern and southern regions, then the Todra Gorges a series of limestone river canyons near the Tinghir city, where the large palm forest and agriculture show in the Moroccan desert handicrafts along the way.
Shaped thousands year ago thanks to the power of water going in the river the gorge gave us a very amazing view. We will drive through the road of the thousand Kasbahs in the great palm Skoura towards the valley of Dades which also has a spectacular landscape similar to that of the Todra gorge decorated with hundreds of Kasbahs. Arriving to Ouarzazate we will visit many Cinematographic buildings. Then we can have dinner and call it a day.


DAY 8 : OUARZAZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
After you have breakfast, we will start the trip driving to the Ighram “the fortified village” of Ait ben Haddou, where we will have lunch, whose name is taken from the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, world Hiretage site by UNSCO in 1987, where famous movies were shot such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy, Jesus, Game of thrones and much more, After that we will continue our trip and make a stop in Tizi Ntichka, a spot in the middle of the high atlas with an altitude of 2205m, After enjoying this beautiful view, We will continue to
 Marrakech.


DAY 9 : MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING
This exciting day tour is going to take you through Marrakech’s most important attractions and monuments, With an experienced local guide, we will uncover all of this red city’s secret gems.

After we pick you up in the morning, we will start by discovering the Majorelle botanical garden and its founder Jacques Majorelle. After his death, the famous designer Yves Saint Laurent purchased the garden and opened it to the public. The Majorelle garden is the result of Jacques Majorelle’s life-long work, containing both exotic and native species of plants and flowers all over it. While we’re here, we can also visit the Berber museum located inside the property. Then, we will head to the Old Medina to have lunch at one of the traditional restaurants.

After lunch, we will continue our tour by visiting the famous Bahia palace, with its intricate designs and traditional architecture. Next on our schedule is the Jewish quarter, which has a special vibe on its own; and the Saadian Tombs, which are a remnant of the 15th century during the reign of the Sultan Ahmed El Mansour.

Finally, we will end our tour by a visit to the famous Jamaa El-Fna square, where the heritage and different arts of Morocco are showcased.


DAY 10 : MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA – MARRAKECH
The following morning after having you breakfast, we will take you to visit to the city of Essaouira and back for an overnight in Marrakech, The city you will be visiting is called the wind city and known for its wonderful seaside where many surfers came to practice their favorite sport, Along with the beach you can see many merchants selling different types of fish, There you can enjoy your lunch time, After that we will go for a walk to discover the ancient walls of the medina and take pictures, At the end we will drive back the Marrakech.

DAY 11 : MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA AIRPORT
Depends on your flight time, we will transfer you from Marrakech to Casablanca Mohammed V International airport for your return flight with plenty of tales of Arabian and Berber days and nights, end our services.
