8 DAYS DESERT TRIP FROM CASABLANCA

ITINERARY:

DAY 1 : CASABLANCA – RABAT
Arrive at Casablanca airport, where we will meet you and drive to Casablanca to visit the amazing and huge mosque of Hassan II. Then after that, continuing to Rabat, which is the capital of Morocco where we are going to visit the Hassan tower and the Oudaya Kasbah, before you check in to your Riad in the Medina. And then overnight at your Riad (Hotel).

DAY 2 : RABAT – RIF MOUNTAINS – CHEFCHAOUEN
After your fabulous breakfast in your Riad we will drive to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains. We will arrive to Chefchaouen in the afternoon, and then you will have free time to visit this beautiful town. You are going to enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue washed walls of the medina, and where you are going to take some beautiful pictures. Overnight in your Riad.

DAY 3 : CHEFCHAOUEN – OUAZZAN – FES
After your tasty breakfast in your Riad, our journey starts towards Fes crossing via Ouazzan and Rif villages. We will arrive at about noon and start exploring Fes as one of oldest cities in Morocco with narrow alleys. This starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate and the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever that was built during the 16th century. Next, we see the famous Al Qaraouine University, tanneries, the Attarine museum and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Afterwards, you will visit the tiles fabrication and will experience a wonderful panoramic view overlooking the whole Medina of Fes. Night in your Riad.

DAY 4 : FES – IFRAN – MIDELT– ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA
After the check out, we will go towards Ifrane (called small Switzerland of Morocco). The area is well known for its abundant wildlife like wild boars and Barbary Apes, etc. Then we will continue to Merzouga sahara desert  through the fascinating views like Ziz Gorges, Ziz valley with dates palm trees and Erfoud known as the capital of fossils and dates. As soon as we arrive to Merzouga we will change the car for camels to go on a nice desert camel ride experience to spend overnight deep in desert camp.

DAY 5 : MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast as usual, we will start our journey towards Ouarzazate passing through Rissani, which is seen as the second well-conserved capital. Here, we will make a stop to explore its old souk. Subsequently, we go ahead via a traditional system of irrigation that is locally called Khettara. Todra gorges is going to be our next stop for a short walk beneath its canyons. After so, we persist our way to Ouarzazate famous for its cinema studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Overnight in Ouarzazte..

DAY 6 : OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
After leaving hotel, we will head for Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which has been registered to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Next, it is to be our way to Marrakesh passing through the point of 2260 m. stops for pictures are worthy to make.

DAY  7 : MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at the hotel, we start our journey sightseeing of Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”, it was founded in the XII century by Almoravidy dynasty. We will insist on to see the most important sites with cultural and historical heritage. You will have great chance to visit Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia mosque, Bahia Palace, the Souk of the city, and then you go to join the famous square of the medina where you will see and discover the fascinating snake charmers, “funny seminars” where some professional or humorous people tell fabulous and nice jokes, riddles…On the afternoon, you will have free time to walk around and see, discover other places of the city by yourself.

DAY 8 : MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA AIRPORT
As usual after your breakfast, we drive to Airport. Our service is ends here as well.
