The day trip starts with an early pick up from the airport or your accommodation in Fes. Then we depart to visit Meknes, the Ismaili capital and also one of the imperial cities of Morocco. In which we visit : Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary and also the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Free time for lunch. Thereafter, we drive 30 km away from Meknes to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with ancient pillars and archways. After that we head back to Fes. On the way back to Fes, the driver can take you to a high ground overlooking the city, so you can see the whole Medina of Fes. Finally the day trip ends with a drop off at you accommodation.
